The Beginning of Knowledge

Here’s one that has escaped Jewish containment that I think people should wrestle with a bit harder:

Fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and discipline.

My take: The belief that the Divine should be perfect and good is a childish condition only supportable in conditions of unrealistically extreme cultural and material comfort and ignorance of both reality and scripture.
