Sitting Too Much

I sat too much this morning, and something is curdling in my mind.

I believe in intensive training, getting over the hump. But I’ve often had trouble recognizing the pivot points at which life TELLS ME to train “more” or “less.”

I keep trying to push my morning practice time back up to maximum, but it just doesn’t fit in the container. The baby’s circadian rhythm and mine only allow so much time.

When will I accept that that allowance IS ALWAYS the guru’s practice instruction?

The kicker: Now I have a brain suitable for sitting under a shady tree all day, which is effectively the opposite of what’s going to happen.

On the cushion and off the cushion, always training each other.
